I have severe anxiety and I’ve been having anxiety attacks for months. And I Often have anxiety attacks when I have to speak to a group and next week and have to give a short presentation to everybody in my function and I’m petrified of having an anxiety attack. In the long term, consider joining a Toastmasters group. They’ll help you with speaking in front of groups of people.
When you give a speech, don’t see it as a group of people. You’re just talking to one person at a time. Try and maintain eye contact with just one person for 3-4 seconds then move to the next person, that way you’re just concentrating on one person.
Meet as many people who you’ll be speaking to before you give your presentation. That way you’ll be talking to people you know, rather than a nameless face.
Finally, before you speak, take a deep breath. As we say in Toastmasters, everyone gets butterflies before they speak, it’s just a matter of getting them to fly in formation.

If you wear glasses take them off and you won’t see anybody (My friends experience). Me I really don’t like giving presentations but, before i do sometimes i listen to my favorite music to get me going. Take a really deep breath and show them what your made of ! You know what! Eat alot of sweets that will probably help Get you going. And by the way that medication is probably what’s causing your anxiety more. You know their is always a side affect
