    Ive been diagnosed since 2007. Ive gone to counselors (just made me have more anxiety) been on numerous different meds, been in the psych ward. nothing helps.I cant get myself to answer the door or phone Im out of the house about once or twice a week.I dont want to live this way, I have many hopes and dreams. I would like to go to college but Im too afraid to.I need to get a job but whenever I get a call to have an interview I can never get myself to call back :( I wish I could be cured so bad.

    @RusconiDom well right now i just started taking meds (zoloft) i still feel the same just a little more relaxed. i have been on it for 4 weeks now. im also on 1 on 1 therapy. i mean i aint 100% but i see lil progress. hope it works out.

    @1994FireBug If you have no fear socializing with your class then your fine but if you have a fear with that then your not. I think you are ok but just to be sure have a counselor help you. I had this problem but i am ok now but the time that i have had S.A.D it was hell and i would like anyone to be able to avoid it at all cost because it can last for years.

    I NEED HELP! ok soo im 95% sure i have this… i have freinds, and talk to them at school, but other then that i dont speck at all. If a teacher says my name for attendance or anything like that, my heart drops, my face turns red, and can i sweat like crazy! I studder when they want me to talk (if i can get it out) and i dont take breaths when this happens. Is this social anxiety disorder
